Getting Involved at Lowell: by Peer Mentor Natasha

The Lowell experience just isn’t complete if you haven’t participated in any sports, clubs, or extra-curriculars; there’s just so many things you can do and so little time you have to do them. Joining a sports team is an easy way to make new friendships and meet a lot of new people and clubs are a way for you to explore and engage in your personal interests. If you’re still on that Lowell hype about having too much homework, you just need to to learn to manage your time more wisely. Cramming is never the answer, so instead you should try spacing out your studying and allotting your time accordingly. So get out there, and join the Cross Country team, Badminton team, Basketball team, just whatever interests you in general. High school is a time to explore, so go crazy!
